Nestled in the heart of Orlando, Florida, J.A.A.C.K.S stands as a cherished family-owned culinary treasure, where the exquisite flavors of Jamaica and Haiti intertwine to create a truly unforgettable culinary experience.  J.A.A.C.K.S derives its name from the Bentham family, with each letter symbolizing a key member of this remarkable family endeavor. Kevin, a Jamaican Native and Claudine Bentham, of Haitian descent, the driving forces behind this culinary haven, are fueled by their shared passion for authentic Caribbean cuisine.

Our Story

Kevin Bentham's venture into the culinary world began when the family relocated to sunny Florida. With Claudine's busy work schedule, driven by her passion for reading and education at Valencia College, and even pursuing her doctorate at one point, Kevin took on the role of the family cook. This transition marked the start of his culinary adventure, driven by the desire to provide delicious and nourishing meals for his family. It became a cherished tradition that whenever Claudine, his wife, prepared her treasured Haitian dishes, it was a special treat.

 A Tight-Knit Family 

 While not all family members may be hands-on in the kitchen, the Bentham family exemplifies unity and support in every aspect of their endeavor. Whether crafting desserts, delivering meals, or lending a hand in the kitchen, their strong familial bond shines through.  J.A.A.C.K.S extends their love for cooking to the community by catering to family friends at their local church and providing home deliveries. This outreach brings joy and flavor to the lives of their neighbors during challenging times and has helped solidify their reputation in the community.
